PRIVILEGE tackles the issues of rape, racism, and menopause. Jenny, a white menopausal protagonist, is interviewed by her African-American friend Yvonne, who is making a documentary about menopause. In "Hot Flashbacks," she recalls a long-repressed episode from her youth. The voices that are heard belong to different people such as anti-nuclear advocate Helen Caldicott and the militant author Eldridge Cleaver. In an introduction on 22 March, Nanna Heidenreich will analyze how her view of the film has changed over the years.
